Bibury Heritage: A unified effort to protect the village’s future
Bibury Heritage is a community-led charity established to protect, conserve and enhance the historic village of Bibury and its surrounding landscape. Working alongside Bibury Parish Council and other organisations, the charity supports the long-term stewardship of Bibury’s built, natural and cultural heritage.

The board is made up of local residents, combining local knowledge with professional expertise to promote evidence-led, collaborative and responsible decision-making.
Our Story
Bibury is a small rural village with an exceptional historic environment and a strong sense of community. In recent years, increasing visitor and traffic pressures have begun to affect daily life, the condition of heritage assets and the natural landscape.

Bibury Heritage was formed by local residents who recognised the need for a dedicated organisation to address these challenges in a joined-up way and to work constructively with partners to help safeguard Bibury for the future.
