Our Story

Bibury is a small rural village with an exceptional historic environment and a strong sense of community. In recent years, increasing visitor and traffic pressures have begun to affect daily life, the condition of heritage assets and the natural landscape.

Bibury Heritage was formed by local residents and a parish councillor who recognised the need for a dedicated organisation to address these challenges in a joined-up way and to work constructively with partners to help safeguard Bibury for the future.
